Season in Bloom {Brooke & Jason}

Ahhh… the Spring season is in full bloom!  This means love is in the air & couples are getting married every weekend.   Wedding season is officially in high gear.  I’ve kept my wedding schedule lighter this year in order to spend more weekends with my own family.  AND since so many of my previous brides are starting families of their own… I need time for their families too.

Yes, it is indeed the Spring!

Brooke was another one of my brides with whom I had instant chemistry.  We laughed at the same things… she thought my absurd jokes were hilarious (& I hers).  We’re both a little bit crazy but we still manage to have great respect for each other despite that fact!  Honestly, I am a little sad her wedding is over… this means no more random Brooke visits popping into the studio just to say ‘hi’…  But I expect that this is just the beginning of a long and beautiful friendship 🙂

But she has met her match with Jason.  He is the calm, rationale side to her storm.  He knows she’s a little bit crazy, but loves her anyway.  It obvious that he enjoys her enthusiasm & her laugh lights up his face.  I knew they were the perfect match from the moment they stepped into my studio.

These two were a little different when it came to discussing wedding day details…  they were less concerned about minor details as long as they were married at the end of the day.  This is music to your photographer’s ear!!!  I love the impromptu moments that make up every wedding.  While I am always obsessed with catching all of the details & organizing fast family portraits, I firmly believe that the best moments are unscripted, unplanned & unrehearsed.  These are the moments that tell the truth about who were are & how we love one another.  This post in comprised of the in between moments- so be prepared to laugh out loud & FEEL the love!!
